ANAHEIM, Calif. (TND) — A Disneyland guest was arrested Sunday afternoon after removing his pants while riding “It’s A Small World," Anaheim police told The National Desk (TND) Monday.
Police arrested the 26-year-old man just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. He was charged with indecent exposure and for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Police transported him to a local hospital "as a precaution," a spokesperson told TND.
Video on social media shows the man walking through the ride while it is in motion. Workers called out to the man,saying "stop, you are going to get hurt.”
Police then arrived and carried the individual out of the park. A passerby in the video called the man out for stripping naked in front of children.
The bizarre act led some on social media to speculate as to the identity of the man.
“The Disney streaker is a trump republican,” one user suggested. “All trump republicans are trash.”
Others believed the stunt could be a bold form of corporate messaging.
“The Disney streaker is going to turn out to be some kind of ad, you realize we still live in capitalist realism,” another user said.
Disney theme parks require all patrons to wear "proper attire, including shoes and shirts" at all times.
Earlier this year, a former Disney World employee was charged with shooting a video up the skirt of a female customer. The alleged victim told investigators she was not aware the video had been taken.
