LSU star Dylan Crews reached new levels of celebrity this year when he helped guide the Tigers past Florida in the College World Series.
The championship served as something of a cherry atop an incredible season, one that saw Crews win the Golden Spikes Award and consistently look like the best collegiate baseball player in the nation.
For his troubles, Crews was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.
One of the byproducts of Crews’ rise to superstardom has been the elevation of his girlfriend, Jane Carson.
This week Carson’s wild photos on social media went viral, for obvious reasons.
It is quite telling that in a week that saw LSU in the headlines for Olivia Dunne’s intimate encounter with an alum and her sister’s provocative beach day photos, Crews and Carson were able to come in and steal the spotlight away the way they did.
After an immensely successful run in college it will be fascinating to see how Crews performs at the next level. He has fairly consistently been recognized as a five-tool player, but his propensity for whiffing on change-ups will need to be addressed.

Things don’t get any easier on that front when you hit the pro ranks.
Nevertheless, Crews has all the attributes on paper necessary for superstardom in the MLB. Now he just needs to realize his potential.
Will Crews become the next big thing in pro baseball? Time will tell, but either way, Carson will be there supporting him no matter what.
