Kellogg quadruple murderer to spend life in prison without parole

Wallace, IDAHO - A north Idaho man will spend life in prison without the possibility of parole. On June 18th, 2023, Kaylor killed5-year-old Kenneth Guardipee, his 41-year-old daughter, Kenna Guardipee, and her sons, Devin Smith, 18, and Aiken Smith, 16 at the duplex where they lived.

Kaylor pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree murder in a hearing in December of 2023.

KHQ and KXLY report family members gave impact statements before the sentencing to both the Judge and Kaylor.

The Shoshone County Prosecutor requested 50 years fixed. Kaylor's attorney requested the judge allow Kaylor parole.

Kaylor declined the opportunity to address family members of victims in court.

He will now be transferred to Idaho State Prison.
