Charlotte Flair has been absent from WWE TV since December of last year when she suffered a knee injury and immediately underwent surgery. Fans have not seen her step into a wrestling ring for over 250 days now. The 38-year-old will soon be returning to WWE, and it seems she already has a challenger in the form of Rhea Ripley.

In a recent interview, Bill Apter asked Rhea Ripley about Flair’s return and potentially facing her in the near future. The former Women’s World Champion claimed to be bigger and better than ever. She recalled beating her at WrestleMania 39 and said that she could do it again. She wished her a speedy recovery. However, she was going to put her down once again when she made her return.

The Queen responded to these words by Ripley and told her that she loved her twice as much, which was a reference to how she had beaten her twice at PLEs, compared to her opponent only doing so once. Flair was recently spotted at the Performance Centre after eight months, presumably training for her return to professional wrestling, and will perhaps face the Australian in the near future.

She loves me, that’s so awesome! I love her TWICE as much. 2 to 1 “Mami”

These two superstars have a lot of history behind them. Since 2019, they have shared the ring 27 times with two WrestleMania matches as well. After winning the Royal Rumble in 2020, Charlotte Flair challenged the Eradicator for her NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 and won. Ripley would soon get her revenge as she followed the same journey of winning the Royal Rumble in 2023 and dethroned the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 39.

Rhea Ripley reveals whether she went on a date with Jey Uso

Jey Uso has repeatedly expressed interest in The Eradicator since she returned to WWE programming in July. During an episode of Raw, he signaled to her to give him a call after the show, which made Ripley smile. In a backstage interview, the Samoan said that he wanted to take out the former Women’s World Champion on a date to Waffle House.

Ripley was part of a panel at the recent WWE Fanatics Fest event, where a fan asked her if she took him up on his offer. She replied that the 10x Tag Team Champion had not taken her to Waffle House… yet. During the same panel, she also named Jey Uso as her favorite active wrestler in WWE.

These two superstars getting together on TV can result in an interesting storyline. Furthermore, the Terror Twins will surely need some backup if they plan to go against The Judgment Day. Considering that Jey Uso is relatively directionless at the moment, he can be a great addition to the storyline while giving him something to do.
