Pocatello, ID (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are asking drivers to avoid I86 and I15 in the Pocatello area.

There is heavy snowfall in the area that has caused multiple crashes.

According to ISP, the northbound lanes at 67.8 are blocked due to multiple commercial vehicle slide-offs.

Truck drivers that do have to go through the area are requested to chain up.
