Two fake $20 bills have been circulating through Ontario, Ore., and Payette, and some say the counterfeit money is more than obvious.

Cpt. John Plaza with the Payette Police Department says one bill was reported to police at a Subway restaurant, and the other was at a Shell Station, both in Payette.

An unidentified woman told officers she received it at a coffee shop in Ontario. Police ruled she was not a suspect in the case.

Plaza says he's surprised either bill was accepted. There is visible writing on the front that resembles Chinese and neither looked like a real $20 bill.

"It doesn't feel like money, it feels like regular paper," he said.

So far, no arrests have been made. Investigators are still looking into the case.
